Junior, Senior, 1st & 2nd classes had a special visitor this week. Mr Foy's Dad, Paddy very kindly came in to talk to them about Christmas in the past and what it was like when he was younger. He was very impressed with the questions that they had to ask. He didn't let the moment pass, to sing a few Christmas songs and everyone gladly joined in. Many thanks to Paddy for taking the time out for this memorable visit.

This week 3rd & 4th class had great fun with their STEM activity 'spaghetti structures'. Their challenge was to build the tallest, strongest structure that they could – using only spaghetti and marshmallows! The pupils rose to the challenge and their structures were very impressive. All structures were then tested to see if they remained upright when a Lego character was placed on top, thankfully all structures passed the test!

The boys and girls from Junior & Senior Infants have a special visitor since last week. Rudy the elf arrived and has been very impressed with how good the boys and girls in Mr. Foys have been. Rudy has been getting up to all kinds of mischief and the boys and girls enjoy coming in every morning to see what he has gotten up to while they were away. Lego seems to be a favourite this week!
